

John has been the Chairman of Board and president of our corporation since its inception in January 2005. He became CEO in 2007 when the company achieved its milestones to transition from start up phase to sustained, long-term business operations. Before Prevailance, John was the CTO for Excelsior, LTD, an international business consulting and marketing firm. Before that, he was an independent consultant to DoD. John served 24 years in the military, both in the Marine Corps and Navy. Primarily a carrier based fighter pilot, he also has extensive experience with Joint, NATO and Coalition operations as well as C4I in Information Security. John earned his undergraduate degree from Asbury College, studied at the Master's level in Information Technology at the National Defense University, received a Master's equivalent certificate from Air Force Command and Staff College, and earned a Master's of Science from JMU. He is an active mentor for several small and start up business owners and has leadership roles in regional and community charities.

Larry spent 23 years in the United States Navy, where he garnered extensive experience in tactical aviation, command & control, and US & multi-national maritime communications. He is a graduate of the Legislative Fellow Program, and served his one-year Fellowship supporting Senator McCain in the U.S. Senate. He is also a former Prisoner of War from Desert Storm, with subsequent extensive combat experience in both Bosnia and Iraq. He has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a MS in Computer Science from James Madison University. Larry came to Prevailance, Inc. as the COO in 2007, and is also the Vice President of the Association of Information Professionals, and the Secretary of the 5th Allied POW Squadron.

Scott's background includes 16 years of active duty Naval service and and 6 years of commercial sector program management in large and small defense contracting firms. He is a veteran Navy fighter pilot and Captain in the United States Navy Reserve, currently serving as Commanding Officer of a Norfolk, VA based unit. S cott continues to provide his services to the Navy as a principle developer of Antiterrorism doctrine, policy, and acquisition and training strategies. He has been responsible for antiterrorism warfare area definition and significant improvement of mission effectiveness in the years following the attack on the USS COLE and the events of 9-11-01. He is a licensed private and commercial pilot. Scott is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, Smeal College of Business with a proven track record of growth and profitability based on his process improvement initiatives, personnel management experience and creation and implementation of corporate management solutions. His current duties include developing growth strategies and identifying business opportunities for Prevailance.

Hans’ background includes 24 years of naval aviation experience in multiple platforms. He has extensive experience in communications systems, Modeling, Simulation and Assessment, and IT management. He has degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. Hans came to Prevailance, Inc. as CIO in the spring of 2009.
