David Valadez comes to Prevailance with a 20 year career in both Navy and Coast Guard surface ship operations. He has conducted or participated in several international engagements in both the PACOM and SOUTHCOM regions, conducting naval operations and exercises with foreign navies as well as counter-drug, migrant interdiction and fisheries / EEZ enforcement operations.
David brings expertise in the areas of Maritime Law Enforcement, Maritime Security and Homeland Defense. Most recently, he has worked in the commercial maritime transportation industry, managing vessel safety and security, and industrial security programs. He has also written Vessel Security Plans for commercial maritime companies for compliance with Department of Homeland Security regulations.
