| Description: | The Naval Research Laboratory is looking for a team dedicated to the R&D of High Assurance Computer Systems. You would work hand-in-hand with scientists dedicated to preserving our defense information exchange, assessing vulnerabilities and preventing attacks to our networks. |
| Education: | Primary requirement is a Masters Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering (PhD Desired). |
| Experience: | Ten years of experience in hardware engineering, software engineering, and information technology environments Experience in the design and development of electronic systems, electronic circuitry, and wireless LAN technology Experience must include the analysis, integration, and intrusion detection and protection of computer operation systems Experience in the administration and development of high performance networks (consisting of high assurance techniques for incorporating networked Global Command and Control System - Maritime (GCCS-M) and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems) of multi-level security (MLS) levels Experience with secure networks including wireless, mobile ad hoc as well as wireless networks with fixed infrastructure Experience in network protocol designs, various operating environments, and network management Experience with C, C++ or other development languages in a UNIX environment |
